StyleSmith Creations has been creating professional web sites for small to medium sized businesses since 1998.  Welcome!  I am Melinda Yee, Principal Designer and Founder of StyleSmith Creations.  I understand the needs of small business owners because I am one, and prior to starting my web design business, I owned and operated a retail franchise business.  Furthermore, growing up in a family that owned a high tech manufacturing business has also given me the advantage and experience of understanding what it takes to own, operate and manage a business with all its ups and downs.  Unlike other teenagers, my teenage summers were spent on the manufacturing assembly line inserting components into printed circuit boards (PC boards), doing soldering rework on PC boards, inventory and quality control.  During and after college, I spent 13+ years working in the high tech industry as a technical support engineer, account manager and sales professional at both Lockheed and Hewlett-Packard (HP) before leaving to run my own business.
